Arunachal State Information Commission organised two days RTI Awareness Camp on 6th and 7th May 2022 at Namsai

In a bid to sensitize the stakeholders and masses, the State Information Commission organised two days RTI Awareness Camp on 6th and 7th May 2022 under the chairmanship of Shri Rinchin Dorjee, Hon’ble State Chief Information Commissioner covering Tirap, Changlang, Lohit, Anjaw, Dibang Valley, Lower Dibang Valley and Namsai districts, at District Secretariat Namsai.

In his keynote address, Hon’ble State Chief Information Commissioner reiterated that RTI is a tool to achieve the true meaning of democracy and RTI Act is a means to promote transparency and accountability on the part of the government.

During the course of program, different sections of RTI. Act 2005 were deliberated by State Information Commissioners. Followed by fruitful interaction session.

DC, Namsai in his welcome address said, the camp has been initiated to sensitize on matters of RTI, Act 2005 and urge all for their active participation.

ADC Namsai, Admin Officers, PIOs, APIOs of all districts, HoDs, branch officers, gaon burahs, panchayat members and concerned public participated in the programme.
