Civil Supplies

The Food & Civil Supplies department distributes essential commodities through Fair Price Shops to the identified beneficiaries under the following categories : –

• GHH (General House Hold)
• PHH (Priority House Hold)
• AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana)

GHH families are issued with pink ration cards, PHH families with dark green ration cards, AAY families with yellow ration cards.

To ensure food security amongst the families living below poverty line, the following shemes are being implemented by the Dept. of Food & Civil Supplies, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh : –

i) Targetted Public Distribution System (TPDS)
ii) Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY)
